Looking To The Future

There is no question that the last two years have been challenging for small business owners. While we have lost many along the way, we have also witnessed some great successes. There is certainly one thing that has become very apparent. Small businesses are the backbone of our communities.

As we move forward into whatever our new “normal” is going to look like, it is clear that small business is going to have a huge part to play. Working together, supporting one another and sharing ideas will ensure that the businesses in our communities prosper.

While an online presence has proven to be crucial and a necessary tool to have in your business toolkit, in person shopping will once again give small business an opportunity to shine. After so much isolation, giving your customers that personalized experience is going to be more important than ever. Now is the time to be thinking of how you will connect with your customers. What kind of experience can you offer them when they deal with you? How can you earn their loyalty?

Connection is going to be key as we move into the future. Forming meaningful relationships with clients as well as other business owners will create a community around your small business. Knowing that you are a part of something bigger than just your business can give you the confidence to learn and grow. Networking will give you the chance to meet new people and create new opportunities.

At The Small Business Centre, we are excited for the future and are eager to help small businesses in Oxford County. We want you to know that you are not alone and that we are committed to being there for you, no matter what stage you are at with your business.
